The number of unemployed in Spain is currently 3,127,800 million. Spain regularly has one of the highest unemployment rates in Europe, largely due to the deficiencies of the education system and the high temporary employment rate.
We were asked to design with the future in mind, so we started exploring ideas related to current problems. We realized the huge need and numerous pain points in the job search process. Although many platforms have made efforts to solve these challenges, it is clear that there is still much room for improvement.
We collected responses from 104 participants over a 5-day period. Our study focused on unemployed and employed people actively seeking work, aged between 25 and 45 years.
We conducted in-depth interviews with 20 users, lasting an average of 30 minutes, where we explored their motivations, frustrations, and habits in job searching. This allowed us to obtain valuable qualitative insights and detect key trends:
01.
You can upload your details from LinkedIn or upload a PDF of your CV. You will then be presented with a brief filter to indicate your search preferences, allowing us to show you job matches from the moment you first browse the app. If you prefer, this option can also be completed later.
02.
After applying the filters, you will enter the “match” section, where you can start applying. Similar to Tinder, you can swipe right if you are interested in an offer or left if you are not. On the same screen you will find all the relevant information about the company, and you will also have a salary calculator that is automatically completed to show you the net salary you could earn.

In addition to being an employment platform, we suggest personalized courses through an algorithm that analyzes your work needs, recommending what best fits your profile. In the courses section you will find: free options, premium courses with subscription and in-person programs offered by our partners.
